Juha-Pekka Keimmo (M.Sc. joined Grant Thornton in 1993 and became an Authorized Public Accountant in 2000. Between 2008-2019 he was Managing Partner for Grant Thornton in Finland.
Juha-Pekka is the engagement partner for several domestic and international companies. His client experience includes both public and private companies in a variety of industries and special assignments related to Business Risk Services, corporate structuring and US GAAP /SEC matters. Prior to Grant Thornton, Juha-Pekka worked for the Finnish Tax Administration.
Juha-Pekka’s primary experience is Finnish GAAP, as well as IFRS and US GAAP. In addition, Juha-Pekka has for several years carried out quality inspections of auditors on non-public interest entity side and is permanent expert in the Finnish Audit Supervisory Board (Tila) nominated by the Finnis government. He is also responsible for the quality and risk of Grant Thornton in Finland and has performed several internal quality control reviews (GTAR) within Grant Thornton.
He as sector experience in the following areas: Professional, retail, manufacturing, construction, telecom and technology. Owner managed inter-national and domestic companies, subsidiaries of international groups and corporations.
